What Our Clients & Candidates Have to Say...
I was hugely impressed by Kate's openness, credibility, and commitment. She took the time to really understand what we needed, was transparent about every candidate’s strength, and went the extra mile to deliver. Delighted that, thanks to her, we’ve found the right candidate and are ready to begin this new journey.
Really professional experience throughout. The briefing session on the role itself helped with interview prep and I found Josh to be really proactive afterwards too. Was great to work with someone who wants to get the deal sealed swiftly but is also mindful of the candidate's requirements. Josh was across all of the detail which made everything straightforward - would not hesitate recommending Josh or the wider EA consultancy team.
It was a pleasure to work with Josh on the appointment of our External Affairs Manager, a new role here at GamCare within a newly established team. Josh took the time to understand our requirements and suggested a number of credible candidates, of which we were delighted to successfully appoint our new Manager after our first round of interviews. Throughout, Josh was responsive to any questions that we had but most importantly also offered to be a member of our interview panel, after which he offered objective feedback. We would be very happy to work with Josh and EA again.
Ellwood Atfield were great to work with – an offer tailored to our needs, seamless process for advertisement and shortlisting with regular check-ins, and excellent interview support. Barry was proactive throughout and had an instinctive sense of what would work for us and what wouldn’t. We had a strong field of candidates and are very happy with the appointee. In short, excellent.
Barry at Ellwood Atfield has worked wonders to help us find a terrific candidate for a complex senior role at our organisation. His knowledge of the public affairs and policy space speaks to his own background in the field and translated into a quick understanding of our needs and direction of travel and led him to deliver a strong, diverse short-list that captured what we were after. The candidates were well-briefed ahead of interview, which enabled us to quickly delve into the intricacies of the role.
I have worked with Ellwood Atfield, both as a client and a candidate, and found they have always provided a first-class service. They spend the time to interrogate the brief and really understand what we need as an organisation for a designated role. When it comes to recruiting communications professionals in the health sector I regularly turn to them and would highly recommend their services to others.
I've worked with Felicity and Geraldine at Ellwood Atfield to recruit, and I couldn't recommend them more highly. If you're recruiting to policy, public affairs and communications roles, they are my go-to agency in the healthcare sector. They understand the job market for these roles inside out and they'll always find you high calibre candidates.
It is a pleasure to work with Barry and we have worked with him to appoint a number of positions from Researchers to Associate Directors. He is intuitive to our needs and understands the nuances of the health policy sector. Throughout all the processes we have worked with him on, we have felt fully informed and confident with Barry’s recommendations and advice.
Ellwood Atfield have been greatly helpful in assisting us to recruit candidates to a number of junior-level roles including both permanent, interim and part-time hires. They have been able to identify candidates in harder-to-reach locations including Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales which have led to successful appointments. Having partnered with Felicity, Barry, Josh, and Rebecca to achieve these results, I can say they are a professional and responsive organisation with a consistent team of consultants who are a pleasure to work with.
Naomi and Alex were a pleasure to work with and delivered a Rolls Royce service both in terms of managing the whole recruiting process and identifying candidates. I particularly valued the honest and professional advice throughout the process.
Working with Naomi and Kate at Ellwood Atfield has been great. They work hard to find a suitable longlist of candidates and take the time to dig into your requirements to understand what the role is all about. I was impressed with the candidates we met for interview and that is testament to the effort put in by Naomi and Kate.
