Ellwood Atfield are proud to be partnering with a health regulator based in central London.


About the role:
The Senior Stakeholder Engagement Officer is a 12 month fixed term contract which  will provide expert advice on best practice strategic engagement and co-production with the UK health and care system’s stakeholders. The successful candidate will manage the design and delivery of engagement plans to ensure the organisation builds collaborative, trusting relationships.


The Senior stakeholder engagement will coordinate and deliver strategic stakeholder engagement and communications activities across major programmes of work. The role will also develop briefings and senior correspondence, advise colleagues on engagement approaches and build strong relationships across the organisation and externally.
 

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues across the organisation, supporting effective and co-productive engagement with key external partners across our work.
  • Support cross-organisational teams to deliver excellent communication and engagement approaches, building effective and collaborative relationships.
  • Lead the relationship management process for agreed stakeholders, mobilising senior colleagues and engaging directly with stakeholders to facilitate and steer the development of collaborative, trusting relationships.
  • Produce high quality briefing materials and presentations for external and internal use.
  • Lead agreed areas of stakeholder engagement and communications activity.
  • Support the development and delivery of practical plans and policies to increase stakeholder involvement and engagement.
  • Work with colleagues across the directorate and organisation to coordinate the development and delivery of communications and engagement plans and campaigns, including stakeholder mapping and audience plans.
  • A proven track record of supporting the development of collaborative and trusting stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience of supporting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including at a senior level.
  • Experience of developing and delivering stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Proven experience working in an engagement and communications role, or with demonstrable transferable skills and experience suitable to the role.
  • Skilled at interpreting and communicating complex information clearly to a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of engagement and involvement techniques.
  • A creative thinker who can provide innovative approaches to engagement.
  • Salary up to £43,000
  • Hybrid working (1 day based in the office)
