Our client, a leading organisation in the Housing sector, is looking for a Senior Internal Communications Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. This role leads their internal communications function, ensuring that colleagues are informed, engaged, and motivated, maximising their performance and delivering against the overall strategy.
Main responsibilities
- Creating and delivering upon the internal communications strategy, driving forwards the effectiveness of this function
- Working with senior leaders to provide a strong narrative for the organisation’s history and direction
- Engaging colleagues using multi-channel communications campaigns to influence attitudes and behaviours
- Producing creative content such as video scripts, intranet articles, announcements, or talking points
- Ensuring the organisation’s brand and tone of voice is reflected in all internal content and communications
- Line managing the internal communications team
Key skills and experience required
- Previous experience leading an internal communications team
- A proven track record in devising internal communications strategy, implementing change and new ideas
- Demonstrable ability as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on internal communications matters
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ideally, knowledge of the Housing sector and relevant issues
