This role requires regular on-site travel across England. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver communications strategies that influence key stakeholders and enhance brand presence in the security sector.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute external communications strategies to promote the organisation's expertise and initiatives.
- Lead multi-channel communications campaigns to strengthen reputation and stakeholder engagement.
- Identify and develop content based on news stories and industry developments relevant to the defence and security sector.
- Manage media relations efforts, including drafting press releases, handling inquiries, and preparing spokespersons for interviews.
- Collaborate with colleagues across functions to produce thought leadership content aligned with key priorities.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Strong communications expertise, with experience in communications and stakeholder engagement, particularly in complex and technical markets.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrable ability to build and maintain strong relationships with media professionals and other stakeholders.
- Excellent content creation and campaign management skills..
- Ability to measure and report on campaign performance, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000
