Head of Public Affairs
The Opportunity
We have a current opportunity for a Head of Public Affairs to lead political engagement at a high profile regulator. In this role you will be working on a range of high profile initiatives. In this hands on role, you will be supporting senior leaders and the CEO ahead of high profile meetings and select committee appearances.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead tailored political engagement programs with Westminster leaders, opposition parties, and key influencers
- Advise the Chair, Chief Executive, and senior leadership on political strategy and engagement
- Oversee preparation for Select Committee appearances and provide high-quality briefings.
Key skills and experience required:
- Proven experience in political engagement or public affairs, working with government and political stakeholders
- Strong leadership in managing teams and political programs
- Ability to provide strategic political intelligence and high-level briefing materials
- Confident in managing upwards and supporting senior colleagues.
