The Opportunity

This is a standout opportunity for a healthcare comms professional to lead on major accounts with purpose at their core. The successful candidate will oversee work that ranges from media and influencer relations to integrated digital campaigns and thought leadership — all while helping to shape an agency that puts people, purpose, and impact first.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead high-profile healthcare PR and comms accounts.
  • Develop and deliver integrated communications strategies spanning media, digital, events, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide senior counsel to clients and nurture long-term, trusted relationships.
  • Create compelling narratives, thought leadership, and media-facing content that drives visibility and change.
  • Support new business development by identifying opportunities, contributing to pitches, and showcasing sector expertise.
  • Mentor and inspire junior colleagues while fostering a positive, inclusive team culture.
  • Collaborate closely with specialists across the agency, including digital, design, and strategy teams.

Key Skills and Experience Required

  • Significant experience in healthcare PR and communications, ideally within an agency setting.
  • A strong understanding of UK healthcare systems, policy context, and media landscape.
  • Proven ability to lead accounts, manage complex workstreams, and deliver results under pressure.
  • Confident in building and maintaining senior-level relationships — both internally and externally.
  • A values-aligned communicator with a passion for purpose-led work that delivers tangible impact.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and excited to contribute to a team that’s going places.
